On march the 2nd, 2023, DESTINY hosted its final workshop to present and discuss with stakeholder and potential end-users all the results achieved in the frame of the project.

The event was held in the frame of Cevisama, the leading trade event for the ceramic, bathroom equipment, and natural stone sectors, and it was structured in three different sessions:

Session 1: DESTINY general overview
Session 2: Microwave heating technology and results from the pilot trials
Session 3: Looking at the future: exploitation of results

The workshop allowed to present the latest progresses achieved in the frame of the pilot trials, which have demonstrated the possibility of application to the industries of ceramic, cement and steel, obtaining products with similar or very close quality to the matured best available technologies obtained using conventional energy.
